We Are Wampaslayer!

Wampaslayer.com

Welcome, everyone, to the re-launch of Wampaslayer.com!

Let’s meet the team, shall we?

Wampaslayer had a history before, however brief it may have been. Many of us still remember the days of running D&D 4th Edition RPGA sessions at a local comic store, attending every midnight movie release like they were a religious service, and generally just thinking of all the cool things we could do. As it happens, life occurred and for one reason or another, Wampaslayer shifted from an active community to just our little gaming group.

Life changed again and, in a perfect storm of improved skill sets and desires to do something new, we’ve decided the time has come to revive Wampaslayer!

So what can you expect from us? Well, we’re going to aim at creating three types of content. We’ll bring you our spin on events and news from as many nerdy topics as we can. You’re going to see a lot of opinions on movies, tv, and comic books on this front, but a few of us are “sciency” and “techy” and all of us are avid video game fans too. And don’t worry, it wouldn’t be a nerdy website without some D&D and other table-top games in the mix. We’re also going to be producing different podcasts for your audio pleasure and you may have already heard a few The Trailer Park episodes (which you should definitely check out now if you haven’t already). Finally, we’ll move into creating videos for entertainment and nerd-enlightening purposes. Video games may feature heavily here (check out some of the guys playing Call of Duty: Zombies, it gets ridiculous).

And we have a lot more in store, too! We’ll be planning meet ups and midnight premieres, among other potential events, at some point in the future.

We’re really proud of what we’re creating here and we hope you come back, watch us grow and improve, and maybe even join with us while you’re at it. It’s going to be a fun ride!

If you want updates on our content straight to your phone, we suggest liking our Facebook page or following us on Twitter! Or for those who use an RSS feed reader app, here is our main RSS Feed.

Thank you, from all of us at Wampaslayer, for reading. Nerd on!

P.S.: A special thanks go out to Joe for being one of the catalysts and founders of the original Wampaslayer and to everyone else who was a big part of that era. Each of you is a piece of the foundation that the revival is being built upon. Thank you!

If it’s a thing and it’s nerdy, this guy wants to do it. Self-taught and self-proclaimed photographer, programmer, and musician, self-described as lazy, indulgent, and pedantic. Give him a task and he’ll do it, except for maritals. Only his wife gets the maritals.
